Frequently asked questions

We answer the most frequent questions about our assessments and how we support decision-making.

What makes Evaluaciones Tech different from a traditional test?+

We don't just measure traits or produce a score. We combine psychometric tools, psychological interviews, artificial intelligence and professional judgment to integrate different perspectives and build a more complete understanding of each profile. Our goal isn't to label people, but to provide useful information to make better decisions.

How does artificial intelligence take part in the process?+

Artificial intelligence helps us integrate information, identify patterns and organize findings more efficiently. However, it doesn't make decisions or replace professional judgment. All results are analyzed and interpreted by a psychologist, who provides the context and clinical perspective needed to produce the final report. No conclusion is generated automatically: the interpretation is always human.

Who conducts the interviews?+

All interviews are conducted by psychologists experienced in people assessment and talent selection. Their goal isn't to validate a result, but to understand the person in relation to the role's challenge, their way of working, their motivations and the organization's context.

How long does the assessment take?+

Each assessment respects each person's own pace. It includes an online stage and an individual interview of about 40 minutes with a psychologist. The exact duration is shown in the invitation email.

Is the interview always included?+

Yes. Every assessment includes an individual interview with a psychologist. It's where we integrate the results from the tools with each person's context, experience and particularities.

Do you run technical interviews?+

Yes. For tech profiles (developers, Tech Leads, QA and Product Managers, among others) we can add a technical interview conducted by specialists in the field. This complements the assessment with a specific view of the role's knowledge and challenges.

What is the AI adoption module?+

A module included in every assessment that evaluates how the candidate uses Artificial Intelligence: tools, frequency, autonomy, judgment and ability to validate generated information.

Why do you ask for context about the role and the candidate?+

Because no assessment makes sense without context. Understanding a profile means understanding the role's challenge, the team they'll work with and the organization's culture. The more you share about the search, the more precise and useful our interpretation of the results will be.

What kinds of positions can you assess?+

We assess technology, product, design and leadership profiles, adapting the process to each role's competencies and challenges. We can also add technical interviews for positions that require a specific evaluation of knowledge.

How do I track the status of an assessment?+

In the company dashboard each profile shows which stage it's in: Assessments in progress, Interview scheduled, Preparing the report, and Report ready. Each status includes a short explanation of what's happening and what comes next, and we notify you by email at the key milestones.

What reminders and notifications are sent during the process?+

The person receives the invitation plus automatic reminders if they don't enter or leave the assessment unfinished. The company gets alerts at every key milestone: when the person is invited, when they start, when they finish, and when the report is ready, plus alerts if the process stalls.

What happens if the person doesn't start or finish the assessment?+

We support the person throughout the process with automatic email reminders so they can complete their assessment on time. If the process stalls, the company receives a notification with the assessment status so they can follow up accordingly.

Can an assessment request be cancelled?+

Yes. The company can cancel an assessment request from its dashboard as long as the process hasn't finished. The person stops receiving reminders and the process is cancelled.

How do you protect the confidentiality of the information?+

All information shared during the process is treated confidentially and used exclusively for the assessment. Only people authorized by the company can access the results, following good privacy and data-protection practices.

What does the final report include?+

The report integrates the information gathered throughout the process: tool results, a synthesis of the psychological interview, observed competencies, strengths, development opportunities, level of AI usage and a well-founded professional recommendation to support decision-making.

How is the report delivered?+

The report becomes available in the company panel as soon as the assessment ends. It can also be downloaded as a PDF and easily shared with others involved in the decision process.

What is the onboarding roadmap?+

The Roadmap is support for managers that turns the assessment results into concrete actions. It brings together strengths, development opportunities and recommendations to support the person's growth once they join the team.

How do I read the results in the report?+

The categories describe the fit between the profile and the role's requirements, not a judgment about the person.

High alignment
The profile shows a high level of alignment with the challenges of the role, the team and the organizational context.
Good alignment
There is an adequate match between the profile and the role, with some aspects that can be supported during onboarding and development.
Partial alignment
Relevant strengths are identified, along with differences that may require support or affect performance within this specific context.
Low alignment
The assessment shows a significant gap between the observed profile and the current requirements of the role or the organizational context.

The category is indicative. The final decision always rests with the professional in charge of the evaluation.
